  Time for a new acronym: RTFT.

  This whole discussion has been about that article (I use the term
"article" loosely).  If you go back and check again, you will see that
Miguel is mainly interested in the technology of .NET that is (1) open and
(2) actually benefits GNOME.

  It is the Register which is adding the "Miguel loves Microsoft" slant.  
While Miguel has some interesting and somewhat radical (for Unix) ideas, he
does not love proprietary software.

  It is a sad commentary on the state of affairs in the world when so many
people can be so easily fooled by clever quoting.
