Richard, are you using voucher.chk or similar and just need that
changing? If so that is an editable format and if you can't do it
yourself someone familiar with checks should be able to help tidy it up.

I'd look at tweaking a report.
RFE needs:
1. Sample GnuCash book and instructions to generate report,
especially important for someone like me with no familiarity of this
functionality
2. Requirements (as listed in posts)
3. Hopefully, identify specific report to change
