Thanks for keeping this going.
What I see is that vouchers work great for expense vouchers, but the
also can work great for payroll while providing a paystub by using a
saved report to print the payroll voucher as a paystub. For the paystub
to be a professional looking, there needs to be a few minor tweaks to
Gnucash so that a saved a Paystub Report can be used with a voucher to
function for payroll - including using duplication of a previously
posted payroll voucher to quickly handle payroll. Large companies have
dedicated payroll systems, but small companies still use an all-in-one
program [Gnucash] to handle their bookkeeping and payroll.

to set up a RFE. I'm not going to do C++ code but with enough detail
I'd look at tweaking a report.
RFE needs:
1. Sample GnuCash book and instructions to generate report,
especially important for someone like me with no familiarity of this
functionality
2. Requirements (as listed in posts)
3. Hopefully, identify specific report to change
