Response: You are cent per cent correct (as usual). You cannot shoot the goal by sitting and watching the game, whether you sit in "the East Stand or the West Stand". Neither can one shoot the goal before the game. To be rightly informed and have a fruitful and productive dialogue, "Goenkars should make their opinion after knowing all the facts and not instead of knowing all the facts." And for the opinions to be productive, as my old grandmother would say, "Goenkarachem ideas won't work unless the Goenkars do." My football days are over! But from what I learnt in Goa many moons ago, you cannot score the goal by shooting the breeze; whether you shoot from Goa or from phoregin.=:)) Have things changed? I would sincerely like to hear from the principles of Goa's high schools and colleges. It would help to get answers to some question on both subjects. It amuses this writer how many can criticize Goans in Goa, on what the say or do, ...by viewing from the "West Stand".
