Dear Mario,
Here it is for the last time. I don't care what Aristo
and you choose to call people. You can call them
chinkey (if they are Oriental), pinky (if they have a
fever), dinky (if they are short). Infact based on
physical characteristics you can call people a whole
lot of names, such as chottu, mottu, pottu, the list
is endless.

In my father's generation, it was customary to call
everyone in the village by their "aad nom", which more
often than not reflected a physical characteristic.
Hence names like pillo, patto, borode, collo, dukor,
were not uncommon. Today, even my father has outgrown
the need to call someone dukor, whether it is
acceptable to the dukor or not. In the same vein, I
have outgrown the need to call someone black. What you
choose to call them is your own business.

Piso Batkar (my title), Tirso Forsu, Kuddó Luis, Bebdo Bostao, Bhailancho Mingu, Fator Dotor, Chor Ladru, Copit Caetano, Kolvont Kotrin, Gauddo Gabru, Fuskean Pai ( a Pe Vigario tending to break wind during many a ceremonial event and on...and on,
just in out Loutulim.
