I fully endorse Soter and Augusto's views regarding the recent unruly behaviour
in Colva. Specially Augusto's points were well thought-out. Being quarter part
from Colva, my great-grand father must be turning in his grave.
I urge Augusto to send his letter to the Herald and strongly urge the
Archbishop to send a strong message opposing this violence. Infact, I suggest
if we can get his email address, we send him a letter expressing our dismay nay
disgust at the goondagiri and dadagiri, and call on him to make a public
statement apologising to the people of Goa on behalf of the Catholics of Colva.
Only through such public shaming will be learn to amend our behaviours.
