I can understand that many priests are simple, and that not all are simple-minded. Any priest who would say what was allegedly said about Floriano is a lack-lustre and pathetic representative of Christ. Please get this point before going further.

Henchim kansullam possounk zai. But to do that one needs strength. In my opinion, and I am dead sure of this -- many of the priests I have met (and even just seen) in Goa are thugs. I say this despite being a grand nephew of Pdr Alvaro Lodovico Figueiredo, for some time parish priest of Raibandar, also served in the missions in Karwar, Sirsi, etc., gave sermons on radio, breathed his last at the Clergy Home in Porvorim; and was one of three priests born in Batim, Ilhas. I point this fact out not knowing for sure whether he was as good as they say he was, or whether he too has a similar side as this idiot that Floriano encountered. I say this in spite of my knowing what it means to respect, and assiduously follow a formal path in Shodo, albeit not an ecclesiastical one; where I owe allegiance and respect to my uber-senseis. But these guys are the pits. As I was known to say at work, when I would have to repeatedly deal with boneheads, "Where do they find these f--kers?" But they do find them and push them through with the little baseline philosophy and the yen for money they develop (for their retirement I believe) and they just keep on coming. On the other hand its is amazing that there are pricks(male and female) who get bent out of shape, and rush to the defend the tabernacle (o inferno esta cheio -- hell is full), while remaining unclear about how to deal with this today. And we call ourselves Christians!!!!! Why? I strongly doubt whether these pageboy pricks of the cloth would recognize Christ, if he threw up in front of them and fainted.
