I want to make totally portable webpages that don't break when I move to a new site a few years later and don't remember what that API key jazz was about, or that I can give to a friend and it will work on their site too.
I even had a Google Webmaster tools account once but got rid of it as I didn't want to remember any special interactions I needed... I now just use standard robots.txt and sitemaps. OK I see I can just use http://mapki.com/wiki/Google_Map_Parameters and tell people to click to see the map instead of embedding it. Anyway, I guess that's the problem with closed source software. Not only can one not figure out why it doesn't work, one also cannot figure out why it DOES WORK when the documents say it doesn't... "Well, it's their toys in the first place, don't like it - get your own." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
