This all goes to prove the inherent unsoundness of statistical
translation.

The failed to qualify, but statistically they don't exist. The whole
concept is wrong. What is statistics anyway. LSA is statistical.
Parsing and grammar are to some extent statistical, but they are not
statistical translation.

Please substitute Google for statistical.
