The wiki-style contribution happens to be an extremely effective one. All editings are peer-reviewed and thoroughly controled. In this case, however, there would be hundreds of thousands if not millions of not-viewed-at-all contributions for similar translations. I happen to be a translator (Portuguese/English/French/Spanish). I and many, many other people around the world could effectively contribute to good translations. Others could too. Word counting-based translations, with no respect at all for the the grammar and the context of each word in one or more sentences is pure nonsense. Besides this forum, there could (and shoul) be able to provide the possilbility of natives of a certain language being able to discuss with others the translations into and from other languages in which they feel perfectly comfortable. Would you like me to translate the above "Google-style" and the "my style"? Cheers.
