That might have been justified as "Plan B" If the organization was in ruins,
It seems that wasn't the case.
Plan A being:
Stand up for what is right
Don't second guess your decisions based on minority pressures
Consider the ideals and aspirations of the Corp you are paid to
protect, and not just the business consequences.
