Suggest install a very simple PABX but specify that you want a patch
panel between the PABX and the outgoing lines. If you are going to have
2 telstra lines, ask the PABX installer to make provision for 4 outgoing
PABX lines.
Its just a matter then of attaching an ATA to one of the spare PABX
outgoing lines.
The above adds about $100-200 to the installation cost plus the cost of
the ATA but allows you to program some outgoing lines as VoIP.
Our new PABX could have been purchased with VoIP trunking but its much
dearer than the above.
