David, Hugh 1. The prescription is created by MDW, according to a standard HL7 format. This is a plain text file. 2. Argus handles SOAP transmission 3. ArgusConnect has created a standalone web service to perform and verify digital signing (HeSA signatures) 4. Transmission is to a web service hosted by the pharmacy 5. Signed prescriptions are viewable in a web browser (Phase 1). 6. Phase 2 of the project (Q1 2007) will address the need to import into the pharmacy system For specific details please consult the project leader, Julia Davis, at ArgusConnect.
