All
I will be arranging a technical description to be posted plus the
rationale for the architectural and other decisions made for this
implementation first thing in the new year. (might take a week or two
because our team has taken a well-earned break after a record-breaking
development and implementation cycle, I will be off until the 8th, plus
need to clear the communication with our project sponsors [TEDGP/NT Health)
The Aged Care implementation is the first phase of the whole project
which is proceeding to community prescribing mid next year. Hence the
Aged Care implementation is serving as a live 'pilot' which will prove
some of the workflow and functional elements plus some of the technical
assumptions/decisions. We expect that we will be making quite a number
of changes to various aspects of the infrastructure and design as a
result of experience, user feedback and as a result of other 'standards'
processes advancing such that we can take them into account.
Happy Christmas and a wonderful new year.

Hi Andrew (and Hugh).
Thanks for that.
I might be a good idea if Julia wrote a 1-2 page technical description
and poped it up on the ArgusConnect web site so we could all follow
what was going on and what the next steps may be!
Among the issues I am curious about are how choice of pharmacist is
preserved (a biggie with the Guild I know) and how the signed script
is marked dispensed by the pharmacist and inactivated or whatever and
so on.
Cheers and Happy Christmas
David
