Interesting. I can't recall putting a table in a presentation before. Bulleted lists and images, even the occasional spreadsheet object. Maybe I'm not imaginative enough?

Cedric,

I just created an OOo .doc with a table, went to OOo Impress, went to Insert - Object, selected 'other' from the object types list, navigated to the file with only the table, and it inserted first time.
