Robustness of a solution includes reliable and hassle free backup methods that can be performed unattended and scripted, as well as ease of secure remote maintenance - for servers especially that includes the ability of having one or more spare servers in stand by. If a product makes redundancy unviable through extra costs, it reduces it's overall robustness.
