At the danger of making a fool out of myself:
The one on the right is Grasshopper, Rhino is on the left.

Judging on the Gradient control, you're not using Linear
Interpolation, which case causes visually thicker bands of colours on
grips (green, cyan). If I'm right and you switch to Linear
Interpolation, the little remaining difference should go away.
