i think that the material aspect is interesting. mainly, though i am interested in color as code right now. as in, if i have a million boxes being made by several different aspects of a grasshopper file, i would love to be able to just simply shade them accordingly, before bake. it would then be nice to tint the grasshopper visuals so that i can instantly spot the according pieces. (maybe it is a per component setting? where one turns preview on and off, one could also select the color being used to preview, which right now is red) also, some sort of layer component would be nice. that way a baked component goes on a targeted layer for ease of use in the rhino file...
