>From my understanding of happenings in Kerala as well as out of Kerala, I
would like to make the following observations which indirectly addresses
some of the viewpoints raised here.

1. Generally, the actions of politically disadvantaged people are understood
to be violent.
No act whatsoever brutal that be, if commited by state or those who are in a
powerful
position are never labeled so.

2.State sponsored violence get legitimised in the name of people.

3.Thre is violence not only in bomb blasts and other spectacular
happeniongs, but in the way in which we are imagining neighbers and
strangers , even in this discussion where we participate.

4.We shouldn't in any situation be tolerent on humiliation . [ Or are we
celebrating it here?]

5.Don't think that middle class is away from 'spectacular' communal
violence. Just check what happened in Gujarath.

6.Do give a thought to why it is so that a minority community is considered
as dangerous BY DEFENITION .
