While we should sympathize with the human tragedy that Madani faced, we should also unambiguously reject his brand of politics and make this very clear to him and his associates. But the picture we saw in the last decade was that while Madani rotted in jail, political parties were vying with each other to embrace his politics of division and corner the vote bank.
