A Hindu believes what he likes to believe /what he wants to believe. ( I'm reminded of a gem of observation somewhat like this by Dr. Ambedkar, which throws light on the Caste Hindus' stupid mindset where democracy and modernity are anathema) I would propose to Mr.Murali K.Warrier to be a little engaging and self reflective on this brief comment, in the context of his own posting: "weshould also unambiguously reject his brand of politics and make this very clear to him and his associates....will Madani explicitly reject his politics of identity and division?" Let him make it clear what he really means by we. It is certainly not justifiable on his part, to have attempted to impose his own idiosyncratic assumptions on others in this forum..this kind of self righteousness is typically brahmanical. A person languishing in jail for almost a decade for no crime other than a concocted charge of conspiracy against him, his determination to exercise the constitutionally guarunteed freedom of speech gets continually suppressed by extra-legal interventions just because that would annoy the demolishers of the Babari masjid and apologists of Hindutwa , and yet the very same person to be asked to 'explicitly reject the politics of identity and division' seems to be a fitting example of the Hindu mind.
