As it stands, I think we're ready for TeXLive 2016 once xcolor gets fixed (something we have no control over, and as yet have not heard from the package developer about the possibility of a fix). We also still need the geometry fix to get our test repository to fully pass (again, we have no control over this one, though a fix has been promised here).

The TeXLive schedule puts the final source freeze on May 8th and the final CTAN freeze on May 16th. I don't think we can move through rc1 to final release in time for May 8th. However, the lack of any reported bugs makes me think that it would be alright if we went straight to release on May 7th. Either that, or we could release rc1 later today and get the sources pulled from that. Does anyone have any other thoughts to add on this? Élie, can you talk to your contacts to find out what they might think on this?
