If you mean the TeX files only, then no need to hurry, we can wait a few days before the final CTAN import. Are TeX files from 4.2 really going to work with the 4.1 gregorio program? I thought they wouldn't... What I had in mind was to release a 4.1.x with these patches and upload it to CTAN, I think that would be the less confusing option in terms of version numbering...
