Didn't I also say: "As you say, swapping the six- for the five- speed cluster is not 
going to get past that problem on its own."  So I'm not disagreeing with you.

My point was, why do people want six gears, and I think it's usually to have five 
gears about the same as standard, plus an "overdrive" - which means they'll need to 
raise the overall gearing by about the same ratio as 5th to 6th as well as swopping 
the clusters.
