Welcome to Virginia,
The law requires that the stickers go on the left fork leg.  Since I can't
legally comply with this I've thought of not puting them on at all, but
figure it's not worth the fight should I get a ticket.  The inspection
sticker is full size, but the county tax sticker (in my county) is half size.
 I used to have them both on the front shock, but that looks pretty crappy.
Now I put them on the flat suface of the left side of the swing arm so they
face directly up.  Looks better and is less obtrusive.
