My method is one set of tie downs on the bar under the headlight (hooks over
the bar and through the holes in the plastic where the headlight adjusters
are). Canyon Dancer and second set of straps on the handlebars (Heli bars on
mine) and a third set on the back attached to the Givi Wingrack. Tie downs
are put on in this order as well so the first set compresses the front
shock, the second set helps top stability but doesn't hold all the weight
and the rear set keeps the back of the bike from bouncing around when the
road gets rough. I've had no problems with this method the few times I've
used it. Hope that helps...Bob B.
p.s. third set probably not needed on a pickup, but I use a utility trailer.
>>Hi all,
I am picking up my "new" '94 GTS on Monday, and was wondering what the
best way to tie it down in a pickup is?
