I second that...  definately use the handlebar
mounting straps.

Be very careful with strapping down the rear
of the bike.  I broke one of my bungie hook
hole bars (the aluminum bars that have the
holes where you can hook bungie cords.)

The aluminum is not very strong, so if you
try to use a tie down and pull the bike
down tight with these holes, you'll
snap the bar off at the mounting bolts.
At $200 a piece, they're not cheap...  :-(

I ended up strapping to the frame just behind
the pegs and tightening down the back of the
bike with that.
