I have found that every time I change my headlight bulb, I have to reaim the
headlight. It may be that it is aimed too high as a result of changing your bulb.
Besides pissing off the cagers, your headlight is not being very effective to see
the road at night.
Another note - the manual is wrong in regards to adjusting.
As you sit on the bike, the right screw (longer one) is for left /right adjustment
(not height as the manual improperly says). It is the left one (shorter screw) that
controls the up/ down. Best way to adjust is to park the bike in front of your
garage door or a wall and adjust so low beam is about top of trunk height/bottom of
back window of a standard car as you sit on the bike (not on the center stand).
Then go out and ride a dark stretch of road to see if need to fine adjust.
If you have been unknowingly trying to adjust height with the right screw it is
best to take the headlight assy out of the bike and center it by looking inside, as
I haven't been able to tell by the garage door method (left/right centering),
unless it is way off.
