Yes. My 1994 was surging at parking lot speeds.
Could've been my specific ECU. Otherwise I just don't understand how some bikes surge
while some
bikes don't (Did someone mention a 1994 that does not surge
or am I hallucinating?)
Having seen enough computer accessories that do not work or are
flaky (NetGear network cards, no-name memory, etc) I would not be surprised if there
was some
problem with production of ECUs and some of them turned out
fine while other ones are screwed up.
There is a similar problem with Regulator/Rectifier unit on VFRs. Noone
seem to know why some bikes fry R/Rs regularly while other ones seem
to work ok without frying an R/R.
