Two questions before you leave the list. Did you replace the GTS with
another motorcycle? If so, what do you now ride?

I sold the bike so I won't know. I guess the new owner is busy reading the
printed archives of the
list that I've inherited with the bike and passed
along to the new owner to notice surging :^)
I guess I should stop posting to avoid confusion.
Did someone try to swap ECU from a surge-free GTS to see whether it
solves the problem on a GTS that surges?
