Hi Darren
I rode 5430 km to and from Romania this year. I had about 4000 km's on
the motorway and my average speed was about 150 kms to 160 kms. I had to
top of at every tank stop to get rid of the oillamps irritating red
shine. It's good that the lamp is there but it's annoying that the
consumption is that high. I suppose it must be like that in order to
secure proper lubication att high speeds, but I'm not an expert :-))
I think this fairly high Oil Consumption is really a set back on the
GTS. A bike build for fast riding on good roads shouldn't have to stop
every 250 kms for anything else that a tank full of gas :-))
I really like my GTS. But It's one of the things that make me want to
get the FJR 1300 instead!
Please do flame me on this :-))
Cheers
