<I think this fairly high Oil Consumption is really a set back on the GTS. A
bike build for fast riding on good roads shouldn't have to stop every 250
kms for anything else that a tank full of gas>
I agree Leslie. If I can't resolve it soon I'm considering putting a remote
oil reservoir custom built under the set with a hose down to the oil cap
where I can simply add some whenever I need. Carrying the extra bottle of
oil on a road trip is a BIG PAIN, not to mention the prices they charge at
some hick town gas station where you only have two choices of viscosity.

I'm no expert either, but I ride the same speed with plenty of other bikes
and they don't use a drop of oil on the same trip. I feel better in knowing
that I'm not alone in this situation.
