I was not aware that the Valentine had a remote box (so that the big box could
be hid somewhere). I like the Valentine, but I've not mounted one to my GTS because
the box is so damn big. So, I'm very interested in the remote idea.

I have a couple of questions:

1. Where's an ideal place to mount the remote box on a stock GTS?

2. Without suitcase strapped to the GTS, where's a good place to locate the main
unit, given that it apparently doesn't like water? (Would it fit under the seat?
And, isn't an under seat location fairly dry?)

The Valentine is the most popular brand with the LDRiders group by far. One
way to mount it on the GTS is to use their remote box, which is very small,
and hide the main unit somewhere on the bike. I have my Valentine mounted
inside the Give Top case and the remote mounted into a custom dash panel
with my StreetPilot III.
