NOOOOOO!! Don't buy the Bandit!! That engine is having problems with burning oil. Suzuki has admitted it and is replacing the pistons with pistons from an earlier year (1999). This is a KNOWN problem on the 2000-2002 Bandito's!

That is a big factor pushing me towards the other bike, and keeping my eye open for a GTS in the paper in the next couple of years.
