I agree with Kevin.  I am currently negotiating with a guy for a 94 GTS
In showroom condition with 5,000mi on it. All he has asked for his
$7,500.00.  If I do by this bike, that means I'll have two GTS's in the
garage.
So I will have a fast one and a slow one. ;-)

In my personal opinion, yes the GTS is too much as a first bike. I'm not
talking about power, I'm talking about it's 600+lbs. weight!! I know
you're
a big fella, but keeping a motorcycle balanced underneath you at slow/no
speed comes only with experience and the GTS is easy to get in trouble
with
under those conditions.
