Pete, Sorry for the delay, 12 hour days, whine, whine, whine... They definitely felt better @ the time but it's like tires--comparing worn out stuff with new stuff--I can't say they felt better than new rubber hoses would have. I got them for feel, longevity, and resistance to moisture and I'm almost positive at the time, about half the cost of new rubber from Yamaha. FL Kev
