Any program purporting to implement SJG rules should use those rules as
the basis of its operation, and allow more complex algorithms as
options. For example, GVB uses the volume table by default even though
it's inaccurate, because that way it can be used for checking the
accuracy of published vehicle designs; but that box can be un-ticked to
allow for precise calculation instead.
