I'm looking for some GMing advice. I'm running a Yrth based high fantasy campaign. One of the characters is a were-eagle and the player is pretty cocky. He does have a powerful (mathematically optimized) character.
This weekend the group is on the verge of finishing an adventure. Their one big task, which they will get to next session, will be to take out the "evil mage". I'll have the group fighting the mage and last line of defense guards without the use of missile weapons. Everything will have a Reverse Missile on it. I want to ground the eagle, too. Anyone have any creative spell use to keep the eagle on the ground? I'm more interested in ruffling his ego than his feathers. Thank you.
