I can see bioships being starboard thrustered, as rough equivalent if being righthanded.

And as summary of a points already made in that thread:

If ships age changing the relations between their stats (mass/thrust/armour ect.) a nation that builds bioships might have some retired or infantile warships, that make frighters, yachts or whatever with stats not usually found in theese roles.

Putting that much armour (or whatever) on a frighter might not be costeffective in a metal ship, but as retired military ships they might be.

And even if military bioships are roughly equal to metal ones, having the retired ones around, or the ones from the craddle, might be an advantage for the bioship nation militarily, because comerceraiding against them is harder, and civilian ships pressed into a military role in times of emergency do have other qualities.
