Hello Brandon,

my suggestion was based on the number of scouts in the
historical US squad. It doesn't have to make sense, as
long as the production line for the recon suits has
been chugging merrily along ever since the war broke
out in Europe -- if you have close to 20% recon suits,
it is use them or scrap them. Compare the history of
the tank destroyer battalions.

The assault squad was inspired by the assault platoon
in the Marine battalion -- also strongpoint-busters. I
guess battlesuits do the same kind of mission as leg
infantry with much fewer people.

And how about the non-player brass in your game? Do
they know it, too? Evil possibilities here.

Then check the introduction re company HQ.

Will there be an arms race later on?

That's the doctrine. But guess who gets called when enemy suits
breach your lines?

What is the DR of the German suits in your setting?

What is the native TL of the Atlanteans and Martians, and are
they releasing any of their gear for special purposes?

By the way, in 2007 and 2008 I came up with a dozen vehicles
which were technically TL6, but built to TL7 or TL8 tactical
specs, like a 4x4 with a wire-guided ATGM, or a twin-rotor
helicopter for 50 troops.

I can send you the file if you didn't save it back then ...

Regards,
Onno
