Hello Clint, winches in 3E are rather heavy -- towing wheeled vehicles or loads on flat ground gets a divisor to effective weight, but to pull the ATV out of a hole you'd need ST 1,500, which is 7.5 tons. As a GM, I'd interpret "wheeled vehicle" or "flat ground" rather liberally to get around this, but the rules are written as they are. With this design, a low ground pressure was the main priority, and I decided I couldn't afford a winch. I did include a hitch, which means a second ATV could pull on a jury-rigged block and tackle. No towing pin, but then you wouldn't know in advance in which direction the ATV gets stuck.
