Hello everybody,

there are plenty of neat suggestions, but unfortunately they
break my self-inflicted tech limit -- I want a very late TL5
vehicle, not TL6 or higher.

3E TL(5+1) is a much more awkward game mechanic than 4E TL5^
would be.

I have two ground vehicles, plus one in progress, two ships,
and an airship, all technically mainstream TL5.

I would prefer a design without house rules, and VE75 says that
driver and stoker are different crew stations. That means quite
a penalty on the driving roll, if the driver tries to do both.

Big birds need room for takeoff.

Technically TL6.

TL6, too.

Can't be worse than enemy dragons doing it on purpose.

Stirling engines are external combustion engines. The problem is
if a motorcycle driver has a free hand for stoking.

Not in the 3E rules, I believe.

In 3E, flywheels are TL6.
