A Segway has a 19" x 25" footprint The picture looks like at least 12"x18" for the standing area(with a section missing from between the feet) This would give 6'8" of vertical space for 10 sqft. Less if you allow an irregular area(wider for the arms and potentially the gut). While I do not know how a Segway handles for 6'+ people, at the very least it looks like they should fit.
