Hello Clinton,
are you using the same clamp to either hitch the drone to a dropship
or hitch a suit to the drone? I don't think 3E covers that, and I'm
not sure it works -- the attachment point on the shuttle would have
to be shaped like part of a suit torso. Or high-TL memory materials
simply handle this ...

Very thin-skinned, compared to 4E unpowered body armor.

A spinal mount on a ground vehicle?

With a more detailed vehicle design system, like 3E Vehicles, I'd
write a drop capsule with the ground vehicle as payload. After
landing, the soft landing system is dead weight.
Your Mecha is pretty large for an expendable drone system. With
such large robots, can people in battlesuits still play a role?
If I understand your concept right, it could be described as
(a) a four-legged walker to carry a battlesuited trooper and
(b) a four-legged walker to carry a much bigger gun than a
suit could carry.
An ultra-tech variant of the M274 mechanical mule? There was a
TOW variant.
Or a future equivalent of a four-wheel ATV.
Regards,
Onno
