Hi Sky, Keep in mind that it has been almost 2 years since GW Micro has charged for an upgrade. 6.0 to 6.1 was a free upgrade, and 6.0 came out in late 2006. Since then we have gotten Windows Vista support, scripting, access to iTunes 8, better web browser support, a giant list of bug fixes that I have trouble remembering and probably lots of other features I didn't mention. If GW Micro was in this for the money I may be a little more concerned, but they are one of the few companies that are in this for the right reasons. Just this past year, I saw a message from Aaron on this list on the 4th of July, when he should have been with his family. Now if that isn't dedication I don't know what is. My point is, companies like adaptive technology companies have limited resources and so they need to charge for upgrades like this especially when so much work went into an upgrade like this. I am almost as sure as I can be that GW Micro is not here to rip anyone off, they're just charging what they need to to keep doing what they do. Trust me, compared to other adaptive technology companies, GW Micro's prices are nothing especially when you think how long it's been since the last time they charged for an upgrade. This is why I happily paid for this upgrade. Heck, I'd probably even donate to them if they accepted such a thing <smile>. Also keep in mind that if you buy an SMA which is $300 that covers 3 major upgrades. Since there is generally 1 major upgrade a year, your SMA is most likely good for another 3 years. Just some things to think about.
