If you are talking about major updates then you are generally correct about the time frame. However because updates can happen in a shorter time if the upgrade is not a major one. Remember Window-Eyes 6.0? It was 4 months after 6.0 that we released 6.1, not a year. After 6.1, we had a patch to address some ugly speech loss issues. That patch was about 2 or 3 months after 6.1. So, not a year I'm afraid.

I would surely hope that GW comes up with more useful scripts than this. WE updates usually happen once a year so why waste programming time and processing time on your computer to run such a script. Just my opinion and I am a expert on my opinion.
