Hi I don't see this as a waist. For one if any patches servus packs etc come out window-eyes will tell you automatically and offer to download them. An auto update feature is a good feature for every program to have. It will be real nice when beta time comes along. I don't think the script should unload how-ever. I think it should check for an update when window-eyes is started and then once a day week etc when the users chooses to have it do so. This is the way windows update works. An option should be added to automatically download and install updates. Prompt for download or install. An option should also be there to include beta versions in the check. This is the standard for updddating th hfeatures.dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd ddddddddddddd

WE updates usually happen once a year so why waste programming time and processing time on your computer to run such a script. Just my opinion and I am a expert on my opinion. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Pietruk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "jim grimsby Jr." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "'Sandra Fouts'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, October 22, 2008 6:51 PM Subject: RE: [New Script] WEUpdate 1.0 > While this sounds nice, how much is WE going to be slowed down if someone > runs too many of these scripts simultaneiously. > And what number might be considered too many? > > > > > > > > > ----- > > > > > Mike > > If I walk with the world, I can't walk with God. > Dwight L.
