Press control-backslash from the program which is self-voicing and it
will open the Window-Eyes control panel. Do the following.
1. Press alt-f, o, s
2. type silent.000 and press enter.
3. Press alt-f, s, s
4. Type silent.000 and press enter.
5. Answer yes to the questions if any, regarding overwriting the set
file and to associating the set file.
Now when this program gets focus, Window-Eyes will load the silent.000
set file and all will be well with the world. if the program has
different modules or areas which start to speak along with Window-Eyes,
do the same while you are focused in that double-speaking window.
Hope this helps.

I know it has probably been covered before, but I have a few
self-voicing programs that wineyes just wants to talk along with, and i
can't find me a way to tell it to be quiet and let the other program
talk all by it's lonlies.
Any ideas?
Thanks much, lou
