This is not entirely true. The silent.000 set file has more than the
voices disabled, but they are not specific to open book.
Hope this clears that up.

all you have to do is open the set file your programs are useing and go
to the general menu and turn off the voice. then save the set file.
you do not want to use the silent.000 set file. it is setup for openbook
and all of the hot keys and short cut keys are disabled so they do not
conflict with openbook.

Hi
You need to run your self voicing application then enter the window-eyes
control panel. Open the set file silent.000 and then associate this set
file with your running application.

Subject: be quiet window-eyes!
I know it has probably been covered before, but I have a few
self-voicing programs that wineyes just wants to talk along with, and
i can't find me a way to tell it to be quiet and let the other
program talk all by it's lonlies.
Any ideas?
Thanks much, lou
