I'm running Spyware Doctor on my home machine. The following references
are vague, as I'm at work. The symptoms you describe are not the same
as I had a year ago when first installing it. In my case, it locked
Window-Eyes out altogether, which made me very cross having just ditched
Zonealarm for doing the same thing. However, by clicking Global and
then (I think) Allow, I told it to always allow WE and it has been fine
since. Interestingly, with a recent update Spyware Dr suddenly took it
into its head to lock out my AutoHotkey scripts. And yes, I was able to
turn it off. By clicking on the right thing (can't remember what it was
at present), it gave me an option of how long to turn it off for.
That's how I determined that it was Spyware Dr that was stopping my
scripts.
After all that, it doesn't sound like the same issue, but worth checking
that it's not the problem or at least contributing to it.

come right back up. There can be no turning that program off for some

Yes, I did indeed uninstall TripleTalk and reinstall it.
I've disabled Scripts and will now re-enable them. I guess I will
uninstall the Spyware Doctor.
I've talked to several people--people who don't even use
screen readers and their computers for some reason or another, have
been messed up by this program, for some reason, so I'm beginning to
think it is the culprit. What I don't know is if that program is
thinking the scripting is spyware and is trying to clear them or
what. Then, once I remove Spyware Doctor, I think I'm gonna reinstall
Window-Eyes, just like someone has suggested doing.
